Written return and refund policy

We offer a 14-day return policy after you receive your order.


To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, with tags, and in original packaging. You also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

If you wish to initiate a return, please access your customer account to manage your orders and returns. You can also reach out to us at customercare@shimmerandshawls.com. Keep in mind that we will provide you with an address to send the returned item(s) to once we receive your return request. It's important to note that the customer is responsible for covering the return shipping fees.

Please note that we will not accept any items that are sent back to us without prior authorization.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. Contact us immediately for defective, damaged, or incorrect items to resolve the issue.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain items are non-returnable including sale, clearance, final sale, pre-orders, custom products, and gift cards.


Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have and make a separate purchase for the new item once the return is accepted.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return. After that, we will inform you if the refund has been approved or not. If it is approved, the refund will be automatically processed through your original payment method within 10 business days. Please keep in mind that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund as well.
